Behind the Veil – A Victorian-Inspired Vigil
Step back in time, where history, mystery and the paranormal will intertwine in a rare and unique interactive Victorian style experience. Spiritualism, which began in the 1850’s, made communicating with the dead a popular and often respectable pursuit. Seances became common gatherings in homes of both middle and upper-class, where people tried to contact loved ones using tables, rapping noises, or spirit boards. “The past never sleeps… it only waits to be heard.”
Join us for a live evening of spiritual inquiry. Bear witness to an immersive encounter of the unknown, as history stirs, and the unseen may make itself known. Participants are encouraged to have open minds and open hearts, and be prepared to attempt contact with the historical past.
Featuring:
- A Parlor style Spirit Session (a bit of history, a bit unsettling, a bit of fun)
- Ghost/Paranormal story sharing session after the performance
