SUMMARY:2024 Fall Tea – Digging Deeper with Diane
DESCRIPTION:There is a story to be told for every buried treasure, even if it’s just a piece of broken China or a copper wire.  How did it get there?  Why is it there?  Who put it there?  What did the servants do with a broken piece of China that they didn’t want anyone to know about?  How did a fine piece of jewelry end up buried for over 150 years?  Let’s dig deeper, all the way back to the 1800’s, and bring the stories of the past into the present.\nIt’s our privilege to have metal detectorist Diane Horne for our 2024 Fall Tea to present some “top pocket” finds from the Dodge House grounds and other dig sites in Council Bluffs.  Diane will delight and enlighten you with her stories of how and where “garbage” was disposed of before the days of garbage pickup.\n$25.00 per ticket\nAll sales are final, no refunds.\n
